Finding the right job for you is not as easy as choosing shoes or clothes, good for you who are beginners or who have work experience. Most of us know what we do not want, but it is much more difficult to exactly what we wanted. Following this, there are some tips on how to choose a job that's right for you. Know your strengths and weaknesses
Before you think to look for a position, you need to do a self-assessment survey to identify strengths and weaknesses in yourself. This exercise may be the most important part of your job hunt. From this exercise, you will know the kind of business environment that is best suited for you where you will thrive and feel at home. If you do not want to judge yourself, then you will easily deceive yourself.
Your goal is to determine the type of work that can make you happy. Because if you are happy and like your job, you will most likely succeed. Work should not make us miserable or difficult. Ask yourself, what you really want out of salary and type of work. If you could choose, you want to be? Do not be embarrassed if your vision of yourself different from the others think about you. Remember, no one but your own who knows exactly what extent and in what capacity you.
Try to identify your own personality

- Friendly and good at convincing or persuading people to look at something in the way you or agree with you, versus if you are shy and shrink if asked to urge others to accept your opinion?
- Are you 'friend of all men' who likes to interact with a lot, or a loner who prefers to work alone on a project and immerse themselves until the job is finished.
- Someone who likes to formal and structured environment with rules and laws are clear, versus someone who likes to work in a free, casual, where the people doing the work on their own?
- Someone who wants to work regular hours, or people who can work in any time?
- These types of people are ready to take their own decisions and bear the risk in the event of irregularities, versus someone who needs a safety net input and group consensus rather than resolve the problem itself?
- Someone who is passionate in the middle of a high-pressure environment, with constant deadlines and the thousand and one jobs that should be handled at the same time, or someone who works better if given a job with a long processing time?
- A person whose identity is strongly tied to the job that you consider these suggestions as interference, rather than a type of consensus that receive the views of others and compromise if necessary?
There is no right or wrong answers to these questions. But, the answer to that will give you insight of what best fits your personality type. Therefore, carefully consider your answer, an honest self-evaluation can avoid a lot of trouble and faster to orientate more appropriate job for you.
Create a List
The next step is to make a list of what you like and what you dislike. This is important, because if you do something that suits your nature, you will be able to achieve success. By writing down the things you like, you will determines the abilities and interests which may be an indication that your career. Conversely, from the list that you do not like, it would be a clue which areas you should avoid. For example, if you are not happy to report, or writing a letter, avoid professions that require the ability to write such as public relations, publishing or journalism.
Ask the opinion
Ask those close to you, good brother, trusted friend, about the field that you like best. If you have a wise old man and a true friend who is always sincere to you, you can take advantage of their opinions. Think carefully about what they say. They may see their own special talent that your not see or do not know, or do you just ignore. In addition, listen objectively feedback from bosses and your colleagues, the good, the less good and the bad. Consider the good, leave aside the useless, and learn from their observations.
Choose your career
You have done your homework, identify your personality, make a list, get feedback about your abilities. Now, it may appear some strong thoughts about the areas that interest you.
